I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix 7 H6 F. c6 _) l* | {, x" v2 E& c. Q6 G; B/ w2 D! k/ H3 `
